So far, AfricTivistes, through the ANNA GUEYE AWARD, honors the best journalists and bloggers engaged in civic engagement through their work. In addition to this award that pays tribute to our late comrade Anna Gueye, AfricTivistes is now taking a further step to honor, beyond journalists and bloggers, the champions of civic action in Africa. The AFRICTIVISTES CIVIC ACTION PRIZE aims to reward these citizen champions who have made the most noticeable contributions on the continent by initiating innovative projects or civic actions that bring about change in their respective communities.
