With the increase in connectivity, cyberbullying is affecting more and more internet users, the majority of whom are women. AfricTivistes has launched the “AfricTivistes Women Cybersecurity” project. This project revolves around two cybersecurity training sessions for 18 participants from Senegal and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC); the implementation of cybersecurity projects by the trainees, and the deployment of a major advocacy and awareness campaign on digital security, digital auditing, and against online harassment of girls and women in Senegal.
To train professional women journalists, media actors and human rights defenders on issues of cybersecurity, digital auditing and combating online harassment, and access to the internet.
