In this age of digital and information overload, finding quality information has becoming a tedious task for media professionals. The public is left at the mercy of billions of internet users in the midst of fakenews and disinformation. Some media houses curl social media contents, often without reliable sources, and thus exposing their readers. Through the Africa Media Lab, AfricTivistes provides journalists and media professionals with skills on the use of digital tools in journalistic investigations and inquiries. It is a series of trainings on the use of digital tools for investigation targeting civil society media actors and professional journalists.
