The Guide for the Mauritanian Voter
The Voter’s Guide designed by the AfricTivistes Citizen Lab Mauritania aims to make practical information about the voting process accessible, from the composition of polling stations to the transmission of minutes. It is inspired by applicable texts concerning local authorities and aims to help voters make informed choices to improve their lives in all aspects. This is to ensure that elected officials are accountable to their fellow citizens, for whom they are the spokespersons.
This guide also responds to a request from Mauritanian civil society to make practical information about the electoral process accessible.
