This distance learning platform, accessible to a wide audience, provides educational and instructional content on democracy, good governance, and elections in Africa. It pursues a dual objective: to address the information gap and to facilitate access to institutional content.

The DEG MOOC is an open and massively accessible distance learning programme on democracy, good governance, and elections.
Context
In a context where the expression of democracy and good governance still faces major challenges in Africa, Member States of the African Union (AU) continue to encounter various obstacles related to the implementation of the African Charter on Democracy, Elections and Governance (ACDEG). In response, AfricTivistes is offering an open and massively accessible distance learning programme focused on democracy, good governance, and elections (DEG MOOC).

To address the information gap, difficulties in accessing institutional content, and biases in media coverage.
