Launch of AfricTivistes Civic Engagement in Rosso and Selibabi (Mauritania)

The InnovRIM Association is pleased to announce the launch of its project entitled “AfricTivistes Civique Engagement”

A project selected this year as one of the beneficiaries of the Small Grant programme run by the US Embassy in Mauritania. A total of 40 young people aged between 18 and 35 from civil society organisations will be educated on the importance of citizenship, leadership and civic engagement in the service of the community through training sessions in Rosso and Selibabi.

The aim of these training sessions is to present leadership as an activity rather than a position. To provide participants with the tools to recognise the adaptive and technical challenges they face in their roles.

The first stage of the project gets underway at Rosso with a training course scheduled for 9–12 September.
