Training in digital journalism – Open Data Day 2020

Open Data Day is an annual celebration of open data around the world. For its tenth edition, user groups, experts, community members and networks worldwide are organising local events to promote the use of open data in their communities.

To mark the occasion, workshops, training sessions, presentations and other knowledge-sharing activities are being organised to highlight the benefits of open data and encourage governments, businesses and civil society to adopt open data policies.

As part of this initiative, AfricTivistes is organising a free training workshop exclusively for journalists in Senegal: Best Practices in Data Journalism. The session will take place this Saturday, 7 March, from 10 am.
